Basic Life Support (2 hours)

· Treatment of an unconscious casualty.

· Resuscitation.

· Electrical conductivity of the heart

· Heart attacks.

· Getting to know the AED (any type)

· Operating the AED

Initial (4 hours) £50 + vat

Requalification (2 hours) £35 + vat

12 hour (2 day) course

The Paediatric course has been designed to complement first aid training for parents or people who work with young children.

The course covers all the topics required by Ofsted for childminders, nursery worker and teachers.

FAW / EFAW Refresher course (3 hours)

The HSE recommends that all First Aiders undertake an annual refresher course.

The course is designed to ensure that practical skills are up-to-date and that any knowledge updates and changes in procedure or treatment recommended by the HSE and passed on to students.
